We use candles for different reasons. For the scent, for the atmosphere they create, for decoration, and someone just during Christmas time. Whatever the reason might be, most of us will probably agree that candle containers are crafty little things. When shopping for my sweet-smelling companions, the containers and designs play an important part in my decision making. My favorite places for candle discovery are Anthropologie and Tommy Bahama.
I'm shopping with the intention to keep the container for future use. I envision using it in my office for sticky notes, pins, or for my jewelry, hair bands, etc. The typical cleaning process would be scraping the rest of the wax from the bottom of a container. Not fun.
But, there is another way :) I was lucky to come across an article on Pinterest today and want it to share with all candle lovers. Instead of scraping, we can now go ahead and make ourselves a tea while our container rests in our refrigerator and all the cleaning is being done. Amazing, isn't it. Find more details here. Enjoy!
